Harrisonburg VA – The Dryer Vent Cleaning Harrisonburg Wizard proudly joins efforts with the Children’s Burn Foundation to help provide medical and psychological care for child burn survivors as well as programs on burn prevention and education.
During October, National Fire Prevention Month, Dryer Vent Wizard franchisees throughout the country participate in a month-long fundraising drive for the Children’s Burn Foundation distributing special wristbands with the words, “Prevent a Fire, Clean Your Dryer.”
With 100% of the fundraising proceeds going to the foundation, the Harrisonburg Dryer Vent Cleaning Wizard has helped raised more than $5,000 through donations, collecting as little as $5 each for a wristband.
Dryer Vent Wizard is proud to support the Children’s Burn Foundation and form a long lasting partnership in pursuit of our respective missions: preventing fires. Paul Beum, owner of Dryer Vent Wizard of the Blue Ridge has lived in the Charlottesville area for over 10 years. Prior to starting his dryer vent cleaning business, he was a scientist performing cancer research at the University of Virginia. For many years he dreamed of starting his own business and the dream became reality early in 2013.
